The Regional Equity Monitoring Project monitors public agencies related to employment, health, criminal justice, elections, economic development, construction, and any agency that affects the quality of life for the citizens of Pennsylvania. REMP attends those official meetings and hearings which have the stated purpose of providing equal opportunity and treatment for minorities.

Ms. Taylor has worked for more than 25 years to advance human and civil rights, with such groups as NAACP National Voter Fund, Amnesty International and Good Schools Pennsylvania.
